Whiskeytown was an alternative country band formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1994. Fronted by Ryan Adams, other members involved Caitlin Cary, Phil Wandscher, and Eric "Skillet" Gilmore. It disbanded inside 1999, by having Adams allowing to pursue his solo career. Around 2005, Adams & Cary announced that it would reform a b& and record a second LP.
